The coast is a 45 minute drive away over the marble mountains of Carrara,
making this an ideal location for holidays or all year round.
The nearest large market town, Castelnuovo di Garfagnana, is 20 minutes away
It has supermarkets, banks, garages, a hospital and all manner of other shops
and services, including a train station on the main Pisa/Lucca to Aulla line.
